How I lose 4 pounds a week

Losing weight is not as easy as they make it seem on television. Wouldn't it be great to be able to just snap your fingers and your muffin top was gone, right? Well back to reality. I began my weight loss journey back in November. I went to Gold’s Gym and applied for a membership. I’ll be honest the reason I was so motivated was because they were having a special promotion, so I jumped on their deal. Hey! I’m a college student and I need to ball on a budget. When I first began I was like many people who were new to working out. I would pick up light weights (5 pounds) because I was afraid my body would look manly. I kept things very simple and ate whatever I wanted. But when I got on the scale not much had changed with my weight. So I thought to myself maybe it is time to get serious. I began to research on what will help me get the results I was looking for. Why was I not losing weight? My eating habits, not drinking enough water and not putting in 110% while working out. So what I did was create a schedule of what days I planned to go to the gym. I decided that going 6 times a week was fine. What about time? At first, I would only go for 30 minutes. I moved that up and added an additional 2 hours. The most important thing I did was change my eating habit. I cut down my calorie intake to 1,200 a day. I’ll let you know this was not an easy task. But it has helped drop 4 pounds a week. I am loving the results and it has boosted my confidence. if you have any questions leave a comment below!
